Job Description

Role Description:

The Digital Marketing Team Lead / Sr. Associate is responsible for delivering and measuring effective, engaging digital marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on social media, display advertising, SEO/SEM and email. Working in close partnership with the local panel teams you will be accountable for designing and deploying strategies to recruit new panel members whilst nurturing existing members and preventing panel attrition. This role requires an analytical, strategic thinker who excels in a fast-paced environment and can adjust tactics to deliver required results. Your focus will be on the ownership of panel marketing campaigns, targeting internal and external stakeholders to recruit and retain panellists.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver marketing campaigns that achieve their objectives and support the team’s goals
  • Design, plan and execute complementary social media campaigns to recruit new M-PANELS panellists
  • Hold responsibility for the analytical reporting of digital marketing campaigns and use that data to inform future activities and improvements
  • Run monthly marketing campaign reviews to track performance of campaigns and propose improvements.
  • Implement best practice SEM/SEO approaches including paid advertising and on-page optimization for all platforms
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise ROI and performance based on the insights
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimise user funnels
  • Work closely with other members of the Panel team, and other marketing stakeholders, to collaborate on campaign strategy and design
  • Work with the Associate Directors of Panel to ensure the Panel Growth Strategy is executed

  • As a digital marketing expert you’ll be the subject matter expert in a marketing team new to automation and strategic campaigns. You will have the opportunity to make the role your own, designing something powerful from the ground up, with the opportunity to support the delivery of significant revenue growth in 2021.
  • Understand the market research industry, the competitive landscape, and industry forces, and where M-PANELS’s panel stands out from the crowd.
  • Prioritise your workload to make best use of your time to meet deadlines and targets, ensuring these are in line with business and departmental priorities.
  • Perform flawlessly and professionally in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility and willingness to change direction or strategy when circumstances demand.

Experience, skills and qualifications

  • Social media planning experience, including with paid advertising, SEO/SEM
  • Deep experience of email campaign strategy, automation, and tactics
  • A creative thinker with the capacity to design engaging campaigns
  • Excellent copywriting skills for web and email
  • Motivated by an exciting and collaborative team environment
  • Able to make decisions, take ownership and accept accountability
  • Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence
  • Self-directed worker with the professionalism and focus to work relatively autonomously, albeit with the support of marketing colleagues
  • Previous marketing experience, preferably in a B2C healthcare environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator with an eye for detail

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or any other relevant field
